Why the setup fee?
From when you instruct us to build your site we still work off a design brief. Therefore we are still building the site using your branding and colour scheme. We don’t give you a selection of templates to choose from and you drop in the logo we still build the site. We design the site suitable to your business and place our myImpact modules around the design. As you can appreciate this can take some time so a setup fee is charged to justify the time spent.
Do I need to host the webite?
No. Your monthly fee includes hosting and depending on which package you choose you can have 5 email accounts or more. Your website is hosted on our dedicated servers in a multi million pound secure environment.
Can I host the website myself?
No. The myImpact system has been created as a hosted web service. We do not intend to release all our hard work in creating this system to the general public as this I what makes our service affordable and manageable.
Do you have a minimum contract?
Yes we do. This is 12 months. Thereafter the myImpact system is leased on a month to month basis.
Why the minimum contract?
If we were to give you all options that the myImpact system offers it could cost you in the region on £4500 + to develop your website. We have spent untold hours developing this system for you to update and manage the content, photos and documents yourselves. If you are serious enough to use the myImpact system you would appreciate that 12 months license fee is a fraction of the cost of having to part up with several thousand pounds.
How do we pay for myImpact?
The myImpact system works from a one off set up fee and then monthly payments for the license to use it. The set up fee can be paid with a debit / credit card and then your monthly payments are collected by direct debit.
